Job Overview:
The Sales & Operations Executive is responsible for managing daily operational tasks that provide essential support to sales activities. This role involves overseeing various operational functions and assisting with sales efforts. Key responsibilities include handling client interactions, following up on leads, preparing quotations, and occasionally participating in client visits or events. This position focuses on handling B2B interactions with travel agencies (inbound), and direct inquiries through social media, phone, LinkedIn, and the company website.
Key Responsibilities:
Follow up on leads and maintain direct contact with clients, including negotiations and amendments.
Prepare quotations and secure a high materialization rate.
Coordinate logistics, including booking accommodations, transportation, and activities.
Regularly communicate with the Tour Leader during tours to make necessary program adjustments and resolve any issues.
Take ownership of tours, ensuring quality and financial success.
Ensure payment terms are respected.
Negotiate with suppliers to offer customers the best products at the most competitive prices.
Provide support and coverage for other departments as needed.
Occasionally engage in sales-related activities and client engagements.
Handle emergency phone duties.
Qualifications and Skills:
Strong knowledge of the Scandinavian market, with relevant experience in a Scandinavian incoming agency or similar role.
Proven experience in sales, with a track record of successful sales initiatives and client acquisitions.
Familiarity with sales support activities, client engagement, and lead follow-ups.
Effective communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional coordination.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Relevant education or coursework is an advantage.
Proficiency in written and spoken English and Mandarin.
Strong computer skills, including fluency with Microsoft Office.
